A friend from the DSAA brought dinner Wednesday night. We talked for ever. She invited me to a bible study with other Special Needs mothers. I went and it was wonderful. You start out meeting these ladies (2 that I already knew) and you know that they know exactly what you have been through with your child and your life change. Then, you talk about God and how He has impacted your life and you realize that, again, they are speaking directly to you and about your experiences. I really thoroughly enjoyed talking with these ladies and learning about how I appreciate the life that I have been given. Eventhough, I miss Emmy terribly, she is with her Father and my Father and one day we will all be together again soon. Emmy didn't need to stay here on Earth very long because she didn't need to learn about love and acceptance and God. Emmy knew how precious life was and how to love unconditionally. I have a lot more to learn about those things and I need more time to appreciate God and what He has given me and created for all of us. She was ready to live in God's house and abide by His rules without question.
I think I'm rambling, so in closing, I've been thinking about a song that I like from long ago (90's?).
Emmy was my "Angel in Disguise".
